Hi i just want another opinion on wether i should have put theese pots in my tent.there 16 litres and the seeds are think different.i see one in a 15 litre pot get big and it was someones first grow.

Also im going to lst.just lst as last time i topped also and now know i prob shouldnt of.so now just going to lst. Now if the tent does get packed will it just be the buds that dont get light get affected and not grow as much.or will the plants get stressed etc

Thanks for any input

Oh the tent is 80cm x 80cm i cant remember the height but im not eorried about that as will be using the lst to keep them short.im picturing a short bushy mess as think different look like they get big.but then i dont know if a packed tent is a good or bad thing lol

It just gets crowded in a hurry, the quickest plants will make the slower plants try to catch up so they get the light. If I have a slower plant I raise it up on boxes to avoid the fight. Otherwise your shorter ones will stretch too much. Keep an eye on them, there are things you can do if that happens, also look up SOG grows. You can see all the problems I had in my cheap and cheerful grow thread.

Cheers i was thinking of doing a scrog but then thought cant u just get the same even canopy if just use lst? i like the idea of the screen to make it easier to get the even canopy, but dont like the thought of not being able to take the plants out or move em but this has made me think of trying it.
Im just wondering incase i do would i trim the bits under the screen all at once at a certain time or just bit by bit overtime to not stress it

Thanks

I considered the same stuff. SCROG is not for me cos i like to move the plant daily for some sunlight. It'll be difficult to move them with scrogs. But if you have big number of plants, LSTing them one by one can be time consuming.

Really just weighing the pros and cons. Seeing which suits you. Only thing stopping me from trying is cos i can't get everything i need in one place. Lazy to order separate parts. Even lazier to make them. Plus im not yet sick of carrying my girls every day. We'll see if this changes anytime soon.

Your setup looks great!

SOG is just a sea of green. Trying to keep all the plants the same height without a net. I take mine out too for a water and some love. [emoji7][emoji23]

These will get big but will be manageable. The buds on this strain tend to be airy at best so trimming A LOT.... LOT.... of the lower stuff will keep you from having a CRAZY amount of lard in the end

Thanks for the heads up. Ive never really trimmed before as some say never cut stuff off.it felt wierd when i first topped a plant. I was going to ask what and how much to trim but i imagine theres a guide on some site.

No guide that I have seen. I go plant by plant as needed. But generally the first 3 spouts off each limb from the base on the first 3 or 4 nodes. I'l elaborate more later with pics from my journal
Thanks that will help alot
