Weak 4, lowest/oldest leaves always go bad

Ok, I don't get this:

I am growing autoflowers indoor. Under cfl's, then a 400w MH, and finally a 600 w HPS. Use cow manure compost with perlite, and use PH'd rainwater. Temp is about 70, normal house humidity so that should be fine. (In the morning I'll often put my plants on the balcony for fresh air/sunshine.)

Anyways, every time about week 4, right around when the plant goes into flowering, some of my leaves start burning up (always the lowest/oldest).

The first time I though it was because I over nuted them. But couldn't be that because subsequently I haven't even given them ANY nutes yet at all, but same deal. (I've also used regular organic soil in lieu of cow manure compost-same result.)

Don't get it, will try to post some pics but probably won't get them on till tommorrow.

Maybe this is normal with autoflowers? I know it isn't a nute problem...... What else could it be here?

Appreciate some insight.

yep... sounds like nitrogen and maybe a little magnesium... pics will help...
