Just to give everyone a little info about our line....
Our team designed this line around 2 years ago and it's the combined effort of Remo, myself, and a formulation expert involved with the formulas of 3 of the biggest nutrient companies in the industry. We were looking at the existing lines on the market and, based on the pricing structure and bottle count, a lot of the premium lines seemed unreasonably expensive. As legalization becomes more of a reality, based on supply and demand, the market value of cannabis will ultimately go down in the upcoming years. This means that large grows will want to cut their costs as much as possible, and smaller growers will only look at product lines that will allow them the justify growing for themselves, rather than purchasing their cannabis from a legal supplier.
So how were we able to reduce this cost?
Firstly, we took away the redundancy found in other lines and limited our additives to only 4 products; a flower enhancer (PK booster), a root/growth enhancer, flavor enhancer, and CalMag supplement. Complimentary ingredients typically found in separate jugs were combined into these 4 additives to reduce the bottle count even further. In the end, our 4 supplements provide ingredients found in 8-10 different products from our competitors.
Secondly, the same Micro formula is used in both flower and veg, which reduces the base nutrients to 3 products, rather than 4. Some people would argue that you need the differentiation for the 2 phases, but in the 10 years of competing in competitions resulting in 25 awards, we couldn't find any evidence that it made a difference
Lastly, our online nutrient calculator (
www.remonutrients.com/calculator) helps growers to budget their expense with regards to nutrients. All you need to know is the quantity of nutrients that you mix at any given time, how many times you need to refill this container per week, and flower/veg time and we can calculate exactly how much product you need for your full cycle. This means that when you buy your nutes, you can avoid situations where you're purchasing too much/too little and you don't have to worry about that last minute trip to the hydro store because you need another 1L of micro (we've all been there).
To top things off our line also includes:
- Chelating agents in EVERY product to ensure maximum uptake
- If we can find 2 varieties of an ingredient (organic/synthetic), we add both to the product
- We filter every product to reduce line clogging in hydroponics
- No animal based organic additives...period
- No chlorides or carbonates, which produce harmful byproducts when processed
With all of these factors in combination, you can actually re-use your coco after each cycle with further reduces your operating cost and environmental impact.
