Happy Thanksgiving. I am a long time smoker, but total newbie when it comes to growing. I decided it is about time i grow my own green. I'm definitely going to grow autos and i am glad to see a whole community dedicated to these types of plants. This website looks a lot more user friendly than the last grow forum i belonged to. I think i may have found my home. I haven't grown anything yet aside from shrooms (which i'm pretty good at). So far i have just been reading and studying the subject of growing indoors getting ready for the grow. I don't want to waist my time or money on buying BS supplies. I plan on learning a lot from this forum. Thanks for having me.

Feel free to ask questions, we have a New Growers Forum.

Are you a gardener? Having a feel for plants really helps.
For all the tech, that's all we really do. I suggest keeping things
simple for a while, I still do.

Late, the only thing i've grown is shroomies and some vegies in my garden.

That will help a lot. Doing it inside complicates things, but you'll get a feel
for what the plants like and need. There will also be some times when you're
scratching your head wondering what the heck is going on. Happens to all of us.
But odds are somebody here knows the answer.

I think you want to do this a lot like I do. Everyone does it a little different,
but I like to keep it simple, and as cheap as I can. When you go to the New Growers
Forum, we will want to know what you have in mind for a budget, what your goals are,
and where you are planning to grow (tent, closet, etc).

Ya, I found this to be the place I wanted to call home too! You'll like it here that's for sure.
I think if you're detailed and meticulous enough to successfully grow mushrooms, a nice sweet little grow will be a snap!
