Those look amazing! I had some problems out the gate with mine; I should have been top-watering a bit more than I was and I think that really stunted the auto girls a bit. Kept waiting for this "root explosion" out of the net pots that didn't come, didn't come, didn't come. Finally, started top watering the hydroton a bit on a few of them as a test? 2 days later, roots popping out everywhere. Maybe it was a coincidence, maybe timing, who knows.

Are you running beneficials? These are all sterile. Well, sterile'ish, if you knew how long I went between rez changes on one or two of these  Have a gallon jug of 29% H202.

And let's just TALK about 29% H202. That's not wal-mart peroxide. Oh man. Didn't know. Had no clue. Was VERY careful when I first got the jug, regardless of not knowing. Didn't splash. Didn't make a mess. Until I was done adding it to the buckets? A tiny bit got on the lip of the measuring cup, which got on my fingers.

Ohhhhh HO HO HO HO HO what a BURNNNNN man!!! That's like pure acid on your skin! Turns it pure white and just burns sooooo bad  Doesn't matter how much water your run under it, it's burnin'. Don't accidentally get "manly itch" while working with this stuff, that's all I'm going to say!

I run Great White,it works well, I had a slime battle last grow. It seems to be working well. This is my second grow. I am doing two this time and it's amazing. Much better with the more I learn.
SoH
Drop by and take a look,

Its got me thinking that too, King :d5:
I just keep remembering the 30 gallon rez changes, every 10-14 days...:bummer:
Makes a man want to medicate...

:smokeout:

I have a good flight of steps to go up and down for rez changes. Hence why they've gotten drawn out so far. Eventually I'll have closer access to water to skip the steps, but, until then...

SoH one other thing I use in my Rez is SM-90. It breaks the surface tension of the water and it smells good.
The H2O2 is nasty stuff. Not very caustic. I have some will use it clean stuff or as an oxygen boost. I bleach everything! Buckets, air stones, air lines, tools, walls, floor, you get the point. I don't have much space, so I try and get it clean before I start.

What kind of air stones do you use, do you clean them? Soaking them overnight then rinsing them in hot water, them bubbling them for an hour seems to get them cleaned out. Although I am using GH Floranova, I hear it's dirtier then other blends.

As far as the roots thing. I water once a day till I see them. Think it took a week, but would have to go back and look to be sure, I do like the smaller net pots over the big one. Way lighter, easier to work with, and better roots.
