New Grower ILGM's GDP & Blue Dream Autos planted april30 Organic vs FFoF vs Miracle-Gro. 2nd time grow

Week 4 Day 28
I'm impressed with this grow so far and already notice a hell of a lot less issues than my last grow with what seems x2 the growth. I took some bleach cleaner and a rag and cleaned the whole bottom tent tray out as it needed it and then I took measurements of how tall everyone is again and will compare it to last weeks below. I felt lazy today and only took side by side shots of the girls in groups of their soil type.

Watering whenever I feel like it is working out great so far, I keep them heavy and if I'm super lazy for a day or 2 I get a light pot that just gets heavy again when i start the process over again. I would say i water everyday or 1-3 days depends on if i get busy on a weekend or not :smoking:

Ah! As predicted the maligned miracle grow is pulling it off. Still a ways to go but I hope they all stay perfect for you guys.

Thanks, i'll be happy if 60% of them stay perfect :smoking:i just hope the soils feeds them enough or i'm in trouble having to make teas and stuff which i have the stuff to make them but i never tried making teas yet.

Looking good man!! Keep it up. Does your wife help you with the ladies? Just curious. Mine does help me mix nutes at least, lol

Thanks! She takes care of her 1 plant and the tomato plant, i'm sure if i asked her to help she would help but she is worried she will mess up and stuff even though her plant is doing great.

Following you on this. Thanks
Welcome to the show :smoking:

Hell yea that's cool man. My wife was supposed to take care of "her" Pineapple Express I put in the 2x2, she's scared of doing something wrong, lol. So I switched them to self irrigation with hydro halos to make my life a little easier.... I think

Week 5 Day 35
I removed the runt gdp in ffof on June 3rd and put it in my 2x2 since I could not get 4 seeds to pop which is a 1st for me as I even soaked 2 of them and the other 2 were direct in soil and nothing after weeks of hoping, nothing, seeds will be seeds.

Today I fed my plants a compost tea that brewed for 36 hours hoping that will give some good stuff to the soil, I went with 4 gallons of rainwater, 1.5 cups of buildaflower, half a cup of craft blend, and 1/3 cup molasses.

These GDP autos are so much bigger than my last grow, feels good knowing I improved this much. Here is a picture of my last grow of gdp autos my biggest and my smallest:

I think they are done stretching now but i could be wrong i have much more room for the lights to go up so I'm not worried if they decide to get 2 feet bigger but doubt they will. I expected blue dream to be the bigger plant of the 2 strains as it has sativa in it but whatever :smoking:

Miracle-gro hers GDP 11.5"----------19.5"----------26" The biggest and healthiest plant, a ton has been cut off her and she keeps going
Miracle-gro his --GDP 15.5"----------26"-----------31.5"
FFOF 5gallon -----GDP 7.5"----------9.5"---------Deleted--Moved to my 2x2 and performed LST to match the sister plant that is younger
FFOF 3gallon ---BlueD 13"-----------18"-------------20.5
FFof 5gallon -----BlueD 8"-----------12.5"-----------22" This was runt #2 but look how it bounced back after some bottom trimmings
Organic 5gallon --GDP 14"-----------18.5"-----------20"
Organic 5Gallon BlueD 14"-----------21"-------------25.5"
Organic 3gallon BlueD 14"-----------20.5"-----------28.5"

You decide which plants look the best but i like them all lol
My woman's miracle-gro plant is the bushiest and thickest trunk of the bunch but I like the organic gdp in 5gallon and the blue dream ffof in 3gallon the best, shorter plants but both have very nice looking buds so far.

Lights:
BP3000 14"-19"
BP1500 17"
I'm still just playing around with light heights before i figure out how I will net/string them up, if they are strong i might not need to do shit but I'm thinking the buds will get heavy and flop them over.

Environment:
Temp ~ 72.9°F - 90.5°F Avg 82.2°F
RH ~ 42.6% - 80.2% Avg 61.6%
If it stops raining the RH will go down I promise

Thanks for stopping by, see you next week :smokeit:

They all look great man. You and your lady are treating them girls right!!! :pass: :smoking::cheers:

Week 6 Day 42
Well the big flower stretch has finished to a degree, the ffof "runt" is still pulling some good gains and catching up to my woman's miracle-gro plant. So much for being a runt huh? :crying:

20210615_151039.jpg

As you can see in the picture i had to make a net for those 3 tall girls in the back, $1.37 for 150yards of the stuff way cheaper than a $20 net on amazon. :smoking:
The middle tall girl (my miracle-gro plant) is so heavy she looked like she was going to snap her stem or knock the pot over so i figured it was time to make or buy a net. This is my 1st attempt at making it and i might need to add more to it later but it works for now :smoking:

I bought some cheap $5-6 organic tomato fertilizer 3-5-6 and top dressed a tablespoons worth into each pot 2-3 days after i gave the compost tea, which i maybe should of waited lol but i'm a learning farmer here so i tried it anyways. The end result was 3 plants got tip burn and they all were my organic soil i mixed up. Maybe my mix has a bit to much nitrogen in it, the other plants seemed to enjoy the compost tea and the tomato food i gave them but not those 3 haha they still have frosty buds just ugly leaf tips now.

Here is Blue Dream FFoF 5gallon "the runt"
