Things appear to be progressing well.
Still have 16 little girls on Campus. of varying shapes and sizes.
Some staying low and showing a preference for girth ... some lean, lanky and pert.
They've been fed regularly - small amounts - but regularly.
Today - now that they're stable - they're going to be introduced to the world of 'flood and drain', of sorts.
i.e. the wet/dry phases which Autos seem to thrive on.
So, a larger feed - in the range of ~200ml per seedling - and I'm of the mind that I'll let them search for food for 48 hours to try and get the undersoil development ticking along. Of course, its all subject to change. If they turn out to be ravenous and insatiable little wenches. and demand moisture tomorrow morning, then being the big ol' softy I am - I'll probably succumb to their feminine charms. But for now, the plan is to alternate between feast and famine, to establish an early trained routine of the dry/wet phases.
Only issue at the moment is maintaining humidity.
Ambient humidity in the room is a constant and regulated 55%RH.
However, directly under the lights [understandably], it's more around 40%RH, even dropping to lower 30's when the soil is dry.
Will monitor it closely ... I'm tempted to place a couple of open water containers near Campus, just to avail the students of additional humidity under the HPS lights. Will mull it over to see if I can determine any downside to that notion.
