Indoor 2 Girls 1 Box: JeanO, Twisted Tree + Night Owl in a Jr.

Day 33 top dress
  • Welcome Gnomies...got a new gnome for my tent.

I top dressed both earthboxes. Did the regular on day 32 and the Jr. today day 33. I like to top dress around every 30 days. I add about 1 cup per plant of BAS Craft Blend. Then Ill add an inch or two of BuildaFlower top dress on top of the craft blend. This time I added some mustard seed meal as IPM.
I always top water after top dressing. I add Agsil 16H, quijalla, Big 6 micros, enzyme elixir, and citric acid for ph down. I used about 1 L for the Jr and about 2L for the regular. I like to top dress when the rez is empty. I am adding about 2L in the Jr. Rez and about 1 gallon in the Regular.

These are the happiest/easiest plants I have grown so far. Really loving using the earthbox system. Invader Zam in the Jr., Jimmy Jacks in the front and RBF in the back of the regular.

    Day 38
  • Welcome Gnomies. Dang these plants are growing...I love these Earthboxes. Once you start filling the rez they just take off. I have done nothing but fill the rez when it is dry and trim some leaves and lower nodes to help with air flow and larf. I like to take some off every other day or so instead of all at once.

Invader Zam. I am really liking the structure.

Jimmy Jacks. This is a beast of a plant that keeps growing...like a weed. Got some nice big leaves. I am occasionally bending the main stem to keep her more even with Invader Zam. She always grows right back up.

Root Beer Float. Or what you can see of RBF. Really like the structure on this one as well. With the chunky leaves, I thought she was going to stay squat. She did not and is keeping up with the other 2.

Here is a before and after my trimming. I usually take anywhere from 5-30 leaves/nodes each time. This was a 30+ trim. The little gnome says "Welcome Gnomies"

    Day 47
  • Man these earthboxes kill it. Found my style and I think imma stick with it. Day 47. These pics don’t really show how big these girls have gotten. Ladies are drinking a full rez in two days. Haven’t done much other than add yah whey to the rez every other fill. I’ve also top watered some goodies like recharge, buildabloom, agsil16H, and enzyme elixir once a week or abouts. They have blown up in the last 10 days. Running out of room again.
    Average temp 75F
    Average humidity 58%
DLI 55 at the tops right now.

    Day 49, Invader Zam Box
  • Anybody else train their plants in the shape of a box? When i pulled Invader Zam out to top water I noticed how box shaped she has become. I run in a 3x3 and have limited space. Funny how she looks when I take her out of the tent. The sweet smell she is giving off is out of this world.

Here is what the Jimmy Jacks (left) and Root Beer Float (right) look like from the side. I have had to trim quite a lot off so they dont just take over each other.

    Day 54 Clean up
  • The tent was getting a little out of hand so it was time for a trimming. Took of some bunches of leaves and lower nodes that wont do much. I also top watered. Agsil16H Silica, quillaja, Big 6 Micros, BuildaBloom and some citric acid to lower pH. Gave the Jr. 0.5 L and the regular 1.5L. Then filled the rez after.
Love seeing these beasts when I open my tent.

    Day 63
  • I havent been doing much in here other than watering when I need to. I also top dressed the Regular earthbox on day 56, both plants in the reg are heavy feeders, especially the root beer float. Seeing some brown spots on the tops of the plants. I think from being too close to the light and me directly top watering the feeder roots with a heavy buildabloom nutrient mix. Will definitely be going lighter on the top watering nutes in the future. Opening the tent right now, makes the entire house smell potently wonderful :smokeit: I also trimmed up everything a bit to clean the clumps of leaves growing into each other and to get better air flow.

    Full ass tent

Root Beer Float (is as high as the light now and too late to supercrop imo). Has a sweet yet funky sarsaparilla scent, its quite intoxicating. We have a funeral this Saturday for my father in law so moving the light higher is on the back burner right now.

    Day 69
  • Well I opened the tent this morning and found that someone has gotten too big for their britches. Invader Zam is putting on that weight. We just had the funeral for my father in law so I won’t be able to harvest her for at least a few days. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! Stay lifted AFO!

    Day 70
  • We had the funeral for my father in law last Saturday, so all of my plants have been quite neglected over the last week and a half. All I have done in this tent is fill the rez up when its empty and do some light clean up of leaves and lower buds. I have been adding yah whey to the rez every other fill up, they seem happy cause of it. To the plants.

This tent is too full, i wish i would have had more time to train and super crop, especially the RBF.

Root Beer Float. Getting some pretty bad light bleaching on the highest cola. Most of this plant is closer to the light then Jimmy Jacks and seems less stressed.
But this cultivar has turned out to be the frostiest. Like frost on everything. Has a sweet sarsaparilla smell to it.

    Day 79 Invader Zam harvest
  • Today was the day. Harvest day. Though I only got about half of it wet trimmed, ran out of time before work. Will chop the rest tonight…I think. Beautiful, sticky as hell and stinky as hell. I’ll have to update later with a more thorough description of the scent. But I do remember a sweet funk.

Took off the supports and all them branches flopped over…love when that happens
