The two ethos are doing great, the errors blackjack is struggling. They are in terracraft blend from Mother Earth. Got a lot of last years soil under a tarp with 4-4-4 dry fert from expert gardener (Walmart) . They will be going into 7-10 gal pots.

    Day 18 veg
  • Here they are at day 18… they are the solo cup plants in the pic.

The three girls in the back are also going outside but not comp plants. They are clones from the left plant in my photo tent if you check that thread… the 600 rspec one.

I bought this clone from the Maine Clone Company(now Dirty Bird Genetics I guess) that sells certified twenty20 clones. Last year I remember @Twenty20 Adam mentioning this strain as a good contender for an early finish in northeast climates outdoors so I am giving Smell of Success a run this year in the greenhouse. I picked the clone up on 4/17/23 and potted it up into a 1gal fabric pot filled with miracle gro organics.

10 days later and her roots were telling me she was ready to be transplanted

Prepped a 2x2 bed in the greenhouse with compost, raised bed mix, Stonington blend plant food, roots Organics terp tea grow, and dolomite lime

Built out a frame insulated with row cover within the greenhouse. Added an autoCOB for heat and light and a small usb fan for airflow within the covered frame. Row cover is an amazing tool.

:pass: frosted last night but I think the precautions are sufficient :goodluck:

We’re going with 7 Gal Rainscience bags and one auto is going into the ground this year.

The rest of the 🫘 are in the Tupperware and towel.. resting on top my internet router and crack a lackin.

This is my first year using coots gnarly barley. The girls in the tent are not complaining (check my indoor thread) and a little goes a long way if you use a quality blender or food processor.

No custom crosses this outdoor season. With this new lighting I think they will be my fall indoor run.

    Photo entry
  • Newman’s 2nd Photoperiod submission day 18 since breaking ground from seed. She was topped above the 6th node today. Planted into the greenhouse yesterday day 17. She gets nestled under a 5g bucket with a 9w GE led plant light, this gets covered in row cover. 5g buckets just happen to seat into the second up ring of a tomato cage. Super vigorous genetics
